A new day

A new day comes with new challenges. Mom is comfortable but,unaware. Hospice has stopped the opiates. Which I believe will allow her to be more aware, once they are out of her system.  She will be coming home, I am told but, the house must be made ready for her return. Out with the old bed in with a hospital bed. Equipment for comfort and a new medication regime. How long she will be with me when she returns home only the good Lord knows.
